Congratulations to Anna Faris and Michael Barrett.
The former “Mom” star revealed on her podcast, “Anna Faris Is Unqualified,” that she and her fiance Michael Barrett have secretly escaped.
“I think we spent the last year in a place of reflection, in a place of prioritization to some extent, a place of anxiety, a place of assessment, whatever,” Faris explained. “But I look around, just like that, my fiance is right… he is now my husband.”
Faris, 44, revealed that she and cinematographer, 51, married in an intimate ceremony at the courthouse on San Juan Island in Washington state and apologized for revealing their secret.
“Yes, we got away… I’m sorry. I didn’t know… I’m sorry, honey. I just blurted it out, but it just feels right [like] I can’t say fiancé anymore, ”she told Barrett. “Thank you, that was great. He feels good. “
She also said she broke the news to her family in the same way.
“My aunt asked me, ‘You are going to be a mother-in-law. How do you feel about this? ‘ and I said, “Well, actually, I’ve been a mother-in-law for about four days, but that was great.”
This is the third wedding of the “House Bunny” star. She was previously married to Ben Indra from 2004-2008, then married Chris Pratt in 2009. Faris and Pratt’s divorce was finalized in 2018 and they share an 8-year-old son, Jack.
Former Faris “Mom” co-star Allison Janney confirmed in January 2020 that the now married couple are engaged. He proposed with a yellow diamond engagement ring.
“I know she’s been engaged for a long time,” Janney revealed to Us Weekly at the time. “I kept it very quiet, I’ll let you know!” So, I celebrated with them a long time ago.
