After all the drama and controversy surrounding the first unmanned Oscars for 30 years, Anne Hathaway is here to remind us that it may not be that bad.

The 36-year-old actress co-hosted the 2011 Oscars with James Franco in what has become one of the most clumsy and infamous moments in the history of the awards now-91 years. Critics complained that Franco seemed half asleep, leaving Hathaway overcompensate with his own enthusiasm.

"No matter what is happening with the show today, remember, it 's already worse," she wrote. "Good Oscars!"

This is not the first time Hathaway has acknowledged his disappointment with the hosting project. In an interview with the New York Times Magazine in 2015, she gave a tip to Neil Patrick Harris, the next Oscar host.

"Do the opposite of what I did, and everything will be fine," she joked. "He will be great."
