TL; DR
- An eagle-eyed Redditor spotted a new Google Pixel 6 price leak.
- In Germany, the phone could cost € 649 (~ $ 758) and include an expensive pair of headphones for free at a retailer.
- This corresponds to a previous price leak, which makes us pretty confident that it is correct.
Earlier this week, we finally received official confirmation of when Google’s Pixel phones will launch next: October 19. With that date on the calendar, we now know pretty much everything there is to know about phones. That is to say, with the exception of one small thing – the prices.
Thanks to Redditor / u / the_amazing_rock, we now have a pretty good idea of what to expect. According to an image leaked by German retailer Saturn, one of that country’s largest electronics chains is reportedly planning to price the Google Pixel 6 at € 649 (~ $ 758). Additionally, the leaked ad snippet claims that you could get a set of Bose 700 noise canceling headphones for free with your purchase. These headphones cost $ 400 on their own!

The price of 649 € corresponds to a previous leak that we have seen. Judging by the consistency of these leaks, it seems a safe bet that it could ultimately cost the Google Pixel 6.
Note that the ad copy suggests this deal runs from October 19 – the confirmed Pixel 6 launch date – to October 27, roughly a week later. It’s possible this will be the official pre-order window for phones, meaning October 27 could be the day the Pixel 6 could hit store shelves.
From now on, pricing is very rarely carried over point by point from one end of the pond to the other. That means the Pixel 6 is unlikely to cost $ 649 here. However, it could cost $ 799 or even $ 749, which would put it in direct competition with something like the Samsung Galaxy S21. It is not bad at all !
