Say what you want about Sonos, the manufacturer of wireless speakers can not hide his bullshit. The last leak is its very first Bluetooth speaker. The news of the existence of the device came earlier this month, but there are now even more details and a name: The Sonos Move.

The photos and information disclosed are courtesy of the German technical site WinFuture. According to the site, the Move will be slightly larger than a Sonos One with similar performance. Supposedly, it will feature six microphones for better voice assistant interaction and a flush handle so you can lug it around easily. It would also have AirPlay 2 support, an internal rechargeable battery and a base station. The price and availability are not yet known, although it will probably come later this month, as Sonos will soon host a media event in New York. Sonos did not immediately respond to Gizmodo's request for comment.

In general, Sonos leaks are rather unobtrusive. A glance at Gizmodo's records shows that the company has a rich history of leaked products online well before launch dates – usually through experienced technicians discovering documents filed by the FCC. In 2011, Sonos accidentally listed its All-In-One S3 Play: 3 speaker on Amazon before attempting to disable it. A year later, Sonos also could not keep his FCC record for his soundbar. In 2013, the complaint filed by the FCC of Sonos for the game: 1 was leaked a few weeks before the unannounced enclosure reached its shelves in stores. 2017 was the year of the PlayBase of Sonos via a B & H list, several tweets, and an FCC deposit. It was also when the FCC company filed a request for a smart speaker with remote microphones, eventually materializing in the Sonos One.

Earlier in January, another FCC report from Sonos hinted at a Bluetooth Low Energy compliant speaker. And now we have news of Sonos Move. Coincidence? It seems to me no.
