The watch should be unveiled on August 7th at the upcoming Samsung Unpacked event at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. A red ring around the device's power button would mark the watchmaker's variant offering 4G LTE connectivity, as opposed to the Wi-Fi equipped version. According to rumors, the Battery sizes of both models would be respectively 340 mAh and 237 mAh. The back button of the watch is now oval instead of being round and in the center of the two buttons there is a microphone on the cell unit. The watch will be available in sizes 40mm and 44mm and could come with 1.5GB of memory and 4GB of storage. Assuming there is no change in screen size, we are considering a 1.1-inch AMOLED display with a 360 x 360 circular resolution. IP68 protection, the notebook can be immersed in almost 5 feet of water as long as 30 minutes.
The back of the Galaxy Watch Active 2, where the heart rate monitor is located, is getting a new look. But more importantly, the device features two new features "borrowed" from the Apple Watch Series 4. One is an electrocardiogram (ECG). This looks for abnormal heart rhythms and can alert the wearer of a condition called atrial fibrillation (AF). Early detection is important because it can lead to blood clots, strokes, heart failure and death. It is not clear if the manufacturer has already received the necessary regulatory approval to offer this feature.
The watch will also have a fall detection feature similar to that of the Apple Watch. When activated, the Galaxy Watch Active 2 can detect when a user falls. At this point, the device vibrates and displays an alert that can be ignored. The user can also tap the screen to call for emergency help. If the user does not respond to the watch after a while, he calls himself 9-1-1 and sends a pre-written text to the owner's emergency contact list.

Samsung seems to work at double speed to get this so quickly. The original model was only unveiled in February of last year.
