Update following reports of Fenix wounded
Yesterday, we learned that Jon Moxley could not participate in All Out because of an injury. It was a major loss for the promotion and now they still have some bad news. At Rhode Island's Big Time Wrestling, the Lucha Bros. faced Teddy Hart and Juventud Guerrera.
During the match, Fenix had a great kick for Guerrera and then went to slam Hart. When Fenix went to get the slam, he fell on the carpet and grabbed his leg. After calling for help, Fenix was taken to the back with Guerrera quickly pinning the Pentagon to end the match. The Pentagon then went straight to the back to check on his brother.
According to F4WOnline, Fenix would have been seen later, walking carefully and he did not think that he had not broken his leg. Big Time Wrestling announced today that Fenix will be working on its show later today. So, for the moment, it seems that Fenix is ready to play All Out.
It's really awful for AEW, while the Lucha Bros. are about to fight The Young Bucks in a ladder match for the AAA World Team Championship. Teams are trading titles since Double or Nothing from AEW a few months ago.
Return of Jon Moxley, PAC Future AEW
As for Moxley, he has MRSA on his elbow and is expected to miss about four weeks of action. The replace at All Out against Kenny Omega will be PAC. It is not known if PAC will be a full-time member of the AEW directory.
When AEW was preparing for their first show, PAC was supposed to face Adam Page, the "hangman". But the match was wiped out because PAC did not want to lose, just like Dragon Gate. where he held the Open the Dream Gate Championship. He would then give up the belt in July, possibly opening a return to AEW while working outside of Japan.
On October 2, Moxley was always promoted for his television debut on AEW and some believe he will be attacking Omega at that time. AEW has promised to put Moxley on Omega once everyone is healthy.
