Tesla is said to be the only company to have built 100 fast charging stations in a single city. Tesla China announced on its social media that Tesla’s 100th Supercharger station and the 1,000th Supercharger stand in Shanghai are officially in operation. The video below from “JayInShanghai” notes that the 100th supercharger station is located in the hot new town of Rafael Sky.

On YouTube, he gave a historical overview of Tesla superchargers in China:

“In April 2014, the first Tesla Supercharger station in mainland China was completed in Jinqiao, Shanghai. Over a seven-year period, Tesla deployed 7,000 overcharged batteries in mainland China, bringing the total number of Supercharger stations to over 900.

“With the completion and commissioning of the Tesla Supercharger Factory in Shanghai, Tesla’s infrastructure in China will be improved in the future and more owners will benefit from hassle-free charging services. Tesla has built a comprehensive charging network for “work, leisure, home and travel” in Shanghai.

“The Tesla China charging team announced in October that Tesla will simultaneously open 10 more charging stations in Shanghai. Stay tuned for more updates from China.

“Many thanks to Elle from the Tesla Marketing Team in China for the invitation. It was my first Tesla event and I have a feeling it won’t be my last.
