Another TikTok user put himself in a sticky situation – and some viewers say it’s a shameless stunt for viral fame.
Avani Reyes, 20, said she went to hospital after putting Gorilla Glue in her hair “accidentally” in a video she posted on TikTok. This is the latest beauty accident with the tough adhesive to go viral.

“I don’t know what to do. It was an accident. I didn’t want to get Gorilla Glue in my hair,” Reyes posted in a clip on the social media platform, adding that the glue burned her scalp and didn’t was not coming off when she tried to remove it. Reyes posted a video of herself trying to comb her pink hair.

Reyes’ beauty mistake comes a week after Louisana’s wife Tessica Brown – now publicly known as “Gorilla Glue girl” – went viral for failing to get the Gorilla Glue she used to style her hair her hair after running out of hairspray. She then had it removed by surgery. But skeptical commentators called Reyes on the app for appearing to copy Brown.

Reyes, meanwhile, updated her followers saying she was told to use olive oil, coconut oil or tea tree oil to remove the glue. She said she had tried using coconut oil, but had no luck removing the sticky substance.

Brown and his sister set up a GoFundMe page to raise money for Brown’s medical bills raising more than $ 5,000 after a wave of TikTok viewers and celebrities who shared their support.
