Another woman accuses Biden of inappropriately touching

SOfie Karasek, a survivor sexual assault lawyer, accuses former Vice President Joe Biden of having inappropriately touched her in 2016. She joins a growing handful of women who have made such complaints against the 36-year-old Delaware senator and likely candidate for the democratic presidency of 2020.

"Soon, the photo of our foreheads became viral. #MeToo has not exploded yet. There was no room for a nuanced discussion on whether this level of intimacy, between a 22-year-old man and the US Vice President, was appropriate, "he said. Karasek said in an editorial published Thursday in the Washington Post.

Karasek said she was initially proud of the moment that she shared with Biden and even spoke enthusiastically with Biden two months later.

"But over time, I began to feel a sense of shame and depreciation every time I saw the picture. I had it posted on a shelf in my room, but I finally pulled it out because people were making fun of him – "Looks like he's about to kiss you!" This created too many conflicting feelings, "she added.

Biden has now been accused of having improperly touched by eight women. Last week, Lucy Flores accused Biden of scenting her hair and putting a slow kiss on the back of her neck. Since then, many women have accused Biden of inappropriately touching herself, ranging from putting her hand on someone's back to the touch of another woman's thigh.

Biden Wednesday released a video on Twitter, apologizing for his emotions, calling them "gestures of support and encouragement."

President Donald Trump discussed the controversy on Thursday morning with a tweet "WELCOME BACK JOE!", Accompanied by a video mock-up of Joe Biden crawling on himself.
