U.S. Food and Drug Administration vaccine advisers have declined to recommend that the agency approve booster doses of Covid-19 for anyone vaccinated six months or more ago. However, they recommended a more limited step: emergency use authorization for people 65 years of age and older and for people at high risk of serious infection.
