Call of Duty: Warzone has been hit by a wave of hackers in recent months, but an anti-cheat organization has revealed that hackers may also be affected by some… non-ideal issues.
It has become a well-known problem in the world of Warzone that there are more hackers in the game because the sites selling these cheats have offered a bunch of free trials. For normal gamers, this is incredibly boring. For hackers, this probably seems like a fun time.
Keyword: “seems”.
According to a highly reputable anti-cheat organization, the Anti-Cheat Police Department, these hacking “free trials” are not as good as they seem. This is the same group that broke the history of console cheaters and now they’ve revealed that hackers just might get karmic justice.
attempt to steal sensitive information about you *
whether it’s your access to the discord token
Credit card
Crypto wallets
They can even just BSOD loop your PC for fun and I’ve seen this happen before and covered it before

As explained by the cheat-centric organization, all of that “free” trials come at a price. Instead of just having fun at the expense of an angry community, these hackers open up to their “worst nightmares”.
The two main examples of what likely happens to hopeful hackers are their PCs being encrypted or scanned for sensitive information, among which the organization lists “access to Discord tokens, credit cards and cryptographic wallets ”.
Beyond that, they also mention that a common abuse that could be repeated is a “BSOD loop”, where someone’s PC is forced into an endless “blue screen of death”.
For hopeful hackers, this information should probably be a strong warning not to cheat. After all, is ruining people’s games really worth ruining your own life?
To regular gamers, this information may seem like a sign from above: karma could very well be real.
