The 2020 Latin Grammys took place on Thursday evening (November 19) with a theme “Music Makes Us Human” that highlighted musical excellence and the power of music in times of desperation. The 21st annual event featured diverse stories of hope, community, sense of purpose and celebration.
Victor Manuelle, Ricardo Montaner, Jesus Navarro, Ivy Queen, Rauw Alejandro and Sergio George kicked off the evening with a special tribute to salsa legend Hector Lavoe. The evening also featured memorable performances across the Latin music spectrum, including reggaeton, pop, regional Mexican, and tropical bangers.
Natalia Lafourcade, Carlos Vives and Rosalia were the biggest winners of the evening with three wins each. Other winners included Bad Bunny, Alejandro Sanz, Camilo, Kany Garcia and Mike Bahia, who won the coveted title of Best New Artist.
