A reputation Apex Legends Data Miner revealed details of a new character arriving in King's Canyon, known as Blisk, perhaps earlier than expected.
As the second season of the popular Royal Battle of Respawn Entertainment is in full swing, the impending third season is on the horizon and, of course, more and more leaks continue to surface.
In a video released Aug. 25, That1MiningGuy revealed a new legend found in the game files of the Royal Battle – nothing but the famous mercenary Kuben Blisk.
Apex Legends (EA)
Blisk appears in the opening sequence of Apex Legends.
Those who know the world of Titanfall will know the background of Blisk too well. Originally appearing in Titanfall's universe as the leader of the Apex Predators (a ruthless team of unrelenting pilots), Blisk is portrayed as a relentless mercenary commander who will fight for the highest bidder without distinction of moral or ethical.
After the border war, Blisk creates the Apex Games. Located in the Outlands of The Frontier, the Apex Games are the premise of the Apex Legends air sports competition.
What are the capabilities of Blisk?
Described as an "elite mercenary", Blisk will support a more aggressive style of play, which can rival that of Octane or Wraith. His abilities are as follows:
- Passive: Examination – "The execution of an enemy will reveal the location of his allies for 10 seconds. "
- Tactical: throwing knife – "Deals 20 damage and marks the target. Killing a marked target earns a double credit. "
- Ultimate: Payday – The team kills attribution credits. Spend credits on powerful supplies.
Blisk's ultimate ability offers the ability to "fabricate" items from materials known as "credits" – a form of currency obtained by killing enemies (similar to contracts a mercenary should be subject to). Credits 2/5/10 can be exchanged for an item, depending on the level selected.
This ability is similar to one of the abilities discovered for Nomad (where players have the ability to craft salvaged materials), but will support a more aggressive style of play by rewarding the credit team in exchange for wins.
Although the passive ability of the mercenary provides a new motivation to execute the enemies with a coup de grace, since this is rarely done because of the vulnerability related to the execution of the complete animation of the coup de finish.
