Cheats and hackers are a huge problem in all online games, and not all developers know how to handle the problem properly. This is not the case for Respawn, who is doing everything possible to make Apex Legends as free as possible of cheating.
According to information online, those who are caught cheating in the game battle royal are banned their equipment, because they can not play the game with another account after being banned.
Last week, a new update of Apex Legends was released for all formats, introducing improvements in quality of life and more.
Quality of life
- Added the possibility to party with the last team you played with. After the match you will see buttons in the lobby displaying the last two people you played with and invite them to your team.
- Additional improvements behind the scenes to crush cheats.
- Mute button added during the intro and selection of the legend.
- When using the Report Player for PC button, you now have the option to select Cheat or Other.
- Made small improvements to the user interface for customizing legends.
- Added option to turn off lighting on compatible hardware (for example, Razer Chroma devices) in the Mouse / Keyboard settings.
- The informative messages that appear on the PC in case of crash due to lack of memory and processor errors are best explained by overclocking / overheating.
- Addition of a better collision to turrets of supply ships.
- Stability correction on all platforms.
Bug fixes
- Fixed the following issue: No default items are selected in the Battle Pass Rewards page, resulting in an essentially blank page.
- Fixed a bug for PS4 and X1 where sometimes using a keyboard to chat could cause a fatal script error.
- Fixed a bug with banner cards not appearing during and at the end of a match.
Interactions of Phase Pad Phase Jump
- The Octane Jump Pad no longer affects players when it uses the Into the Void ability.
Apex Legends is now available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in all regions.
