Apex Legends: new legend and season 8 release date revealed

[ad_1]

Apex Legends Season 8 begins February 2 and will feature 16th Battle Royale Legend: Fuse, developer Respawn Entertainment announced on Monday.

With a “Mayhem” theme, it looks like Respawn is hoping to speed up Apex’s action. On the official Apex Legends website, Respawn teases that Fuse’s arrival at the tournament has radically reshaped Kings Canyon. However, there are no new screenshots to look at, but Respawn says it will show up more soon.

New Legend Fuse is an avid demolition enthusiast and a fiery thief. You can watch the trailer for his origin story below. When Fuse and his friend discover a golden grenade in the hands of a dead soldier on their home planet, Salvo, it sparks a rivalry between the two that endures over the years. With each friend continually stealing the Golden Grenade from each other, as Fuse builds a career as an in-ring fighter, tensions eventually boil over as Salvo joins the Syndicate planets.

Fuse ends up telling his friend that he is leaving Salvo to join the Apex Games, and offers him a truce, giving him the grenade. Obviously not a follower of kind gestures, it scares her away. She grabs the grenade, pulls its pin out and surprises Fuse throwing it at him, blowing his whole arm. Fuse can be seen in a photo on the Apex Legends site sporting a metal arm that’s sure to be filled with weapons.

Data miners have already discovered some details about Fuse’s abilities. “Airburst Grenade” allows him to throw, what else, a grenade from his arm. Her ultimate ability is believed to be “The Motherlode,” which allows her to launch a missile at her back and burn anything in her path.

Apex players who still prefer other Legends won’t be left behind. A new weapon named 30-30 Repeater, a futurized lever action rifle, will be available at the start of Season 8.

Apex Legends Season 8 will include all of the other usual stuff you’d expect: a 100-level battle pass featuring skins and other cosmetics, ranked competitive mode, and more.

Apex Legends will also arrive on Nintedo Switch in 2021 after a previous delay.
