The Mandela Effect is in full swing in Apex Legends, as much of the community was shocked to discover that there was a secret tunnel in Kings Canyon – which has been around since the game’s first release.
With great battle royale maps like the ones we see in Apex Legends, players are always discovering new locations, routes to get high positions, and smart wrestling positions with Pathfinder.
Even after more than two years of Kings Canyon, some players are discovering completely new locations on the map, like the tunnel near the swamps.
As some day one players know, that tunnel has always been there, but it’s not exactly obvious, nor very useful. So it came as a surprise to thousands of people when a clip of it was shared online.

Hidden tunnel in Kings Canyon?
If you’ve never looked for it before, it’s not unreasonable that you’ve never noticed this hidden tunnel. After all, there’s no point in useful spinning, but there are a few loot bins inside.
On September 11th, Apex player u / Sametg73 posted “I’m probably the last to know, but since when has this tunnel been in Kings Canyon?” – and to their amazement, many other players also had no idea.
Some OG players have said, “Don’t think I’ve been through this thing once. Not even once. Another said: “I’ve been playing since s1 and I’ve landed in the swamps a million times and I’ve never seen this in my life. What area is he in? “

In general, the swamps are a fairly neglected area of Kings Canyon, perhaps due to its location on the outskirts of the map. It also seems quite rare that the last circle ends there.
This tunnel may not do much for a game objective outside of a sneaky hiding place, but, with so many players seemingly oblivious, you may be able to bamboozle enemies with it and get an unsuspecting flank on them.
