Apex Legends Update July 5: Disruptive Rounds, Penalties and Challenges – Release Notes

[ad_1]

Respawn Entertainment has released its first update since the start of season 2 of Apex Legends, which addresses some of the players' recent concerns, following the great update of the launch of the new season.

After the launch of Season 2, which introduced a lot of improvements and nerves into various weapons, as well as new attachments, there were bound to be problems with balance.

The main concern was the "disruptive rounds", which, when used on the SMG alternator, proved to be slightly overpowering by destroying the shields of enemy players in an instant.

Attachments such as disruptive rounds can be a significant advantage for the player in the game.

Disturbing rounds

The July 5 update tackled many of the problems the fan base faced during the last changes, including the strength of the disruptor round-up.

Respawn has modified it, reducing the damage multiplier of the shield from 2.26 to 1.7 at the moment, while working on a more permanent weapon balance fix that should be seen next week.

It was a much needed change, even after top streamers like a shroud hit the attachment, which made the alternator far too powerful against the protected enemies.

respawn

All site-related challenges have been removed from Apex Legends.

challenges

Respawn also announced that the daily challenges related to localization in Apex Legends had been removed from the game, after complaints made them think that the challenges had had a negative impact on the gameplay.

Solo players often separated from their teammates at the beginning of matches to get to the area they needed, which ruined the fashion team's work.

Players will still have three daily challenges ahead, but they will not just include them for now.

Quit Pentalty

Respawn also confirmed that the exit penalty in the ranked game mode had been temporarily disabled after bugs were discovered with the playlist.

However, players may still receive penalties for dropping games, with Respawn stating, "We reserve the right to impose penalties on players who drop out of ranked matches while we settle them".

In the update, they also tackled players who may have problems with the latest Twitch Prime Loot rewards series, which includes Sweet Dreams Wattson skin and Stellar Stallion L-Star skin.

Respawn said that after trading the Twitch Prime rewards, players might have to restart the Apex captions to see the skins in their inventory.

They also announced that they would announce more improvements in the future with all the comments of the players and the new data that they can collect from the classified playlist and from 39, other features added in season 2.
