I do not have a lot of tactical options left once my character is knocked down during an animated round. Apex Legends.
I can get away from my enemies and hope to be revived by a member of my team or, if I bleed, I can tell my teammates to retrieve my banner so that I can be resurrected at a respawn beacon. But I have no way of fighting back until one of these two things happens.
vocal Apex Legends Players would like to change that and they have a simple but effective suggestion: let the players bite the ankles of their enemies once they have been knocked out.
Seriously
This is an excellent suggestion with a lot of weight from the community.
"Let's bite peoples[[[[sic]ankle for the same thing, 5 damage while we are down if they are too close "wire on the Apex Legends Subreddit currently has over 39,000 positive votes and has received the Silver Award four times, the Gold Award six times and the Platinum Prize exactly one time. This means that community members have spent real money to approve the idea of being able to bite their ankles Apex Legends.
The text of the article is simple and precise. "I'm tired of being useless JUST because I'm bad at gambling," wrote Redditor DivineRedefined. "Let me nip an ankle."
Biting the ankle would mean that even the slaughtered players continue to pose a threat, especially if they were knocked out after a long fight everyone close to death.
The original poster of this suggestion was right: the players who are bad Apex Legends should not feel useless simply because they do not have enough time to train or simply do not want to, and let them share the sweet nectar of ankle meat, the most delicious cut of flesh available on the Battlefield would give them a more reason to keep fighting until their last breath.
And biting the ankles would add an extra level of strategy to the game, as others point out.
Really support this for @PlayApex:
1) Gives down players something else to do than crawl.
2) The meta strategy is currently to camp the slaughtered players, which makes everything more difficult.
3) Number of times 1 HP left to the opponent, which is satisfactory. https://t.co/UB4EbVm6vk– Reverend Mother Sliwinski (@Sliwinski) March 12, 2019
I contacted Respawn Entertainment to ask if the studio was planning to incorporate this feature into the game, but has not yet received a response at the time of publication. The only things that could possibly delay the developers are time, work on other updates, balance problems that I did not think during the 10 minutes it took me to write this post Fortnite did not do it first.
The redditors have more detailed ideas on implementing this feature. "It's also better to have a good sound effect," wrote another player. "Like a crisp apple bran for every bite."
