After its event last September, Apple has quietly lowered the price of the iPad Pro 1 TB. This makes Apple's prices more competitive compared to third-party retailers, but there are rumors of an imminent refresh of the iPad. Pro.

As first spotted by MacRumeursThe 11-inch iPad Pro 1GB with Wi-Fi from Apple now costs $ 1,349, while the cell model amounts to $ 1,499. That goes from $ 1,549 to $ 1,699, respectively. The same price reductions also apply to the 12.9-inch iPad Pro with 1TB of storage. The Wi-Fi model now costs $ 1,549, while the LTE model is $ 1,699.

Apple has almost consistently reduced the storage prices of its products. Recently, in July, Apple dramatically reduced the price of some Mac SSD upgrades and launched a brand new 1TB MacBook Air.

With Apple's official price drop on the iPad Pro 1TB, Apple offers prices closer to those offered by Amazon, but slightly higher. As noted first by 9to5Toys, Amazon sells the 11-inch iPad Pro with 1TB of storage and Wi-Fi connectivity priced at $ 1,149. Meanwhile, the 12.9-inch iPad Pro with 1TB of storage is available for $ 1,349.

Of course, according to some rumors, Apple plans to update the range of iPad Pro next month. Reports suggest that Apple plans to bring to the iPad Pro the same three-lens camera setup as on the iPhone 11 Pro.

With this in mind, it may be wiser to wait until next month if you are thinking about buying an iPad Pro. Even if you do not buy the 2019 model, the price of the 2018 Pro iPad will likely continue to drop once a new model has been unveiled. Make sure to keep an eye on 9to5Toys for all the latest iPad Pro deals.
