Apple Card: Apple warns not to put his leather credit card

Apple (AAPL) has updated its support webpage this week to warn customers that certain fabrics, such as leather and denim, could cause permanent discoloration of the Apple card. This damage will not be washed.

Apple also recommends not to put the card in a wallet slot that already has a different credit card, so as not to scratch it. In addition, the company said customers should not put their Apple Card in a pocket or bag containing coins, keys, or "other potentially abrasive objects."

"If your Apple Titanium card comes into contact with hard surfaces or materials, it's possible that the coating is damaged," Apple said on its website.

The bottom line: The Apple card should probably not touch anything.

Apple Card, Goldman Sachs Focuses More on the Risk Loan Industry
The company first announced the Apple Card in March, promising "the most significant change in the credit card experience in 50 years". The card, which became officially available to all US customers on Tuesday, is issued through Goldman Sach (GS)and works on the Mastercard network. It is only available for iPhone users and integrated with the Apple Wallet app.

Physically, the credit card has the classic look of Apple. It's white, titanium and usually has a minimalist design. On the map you will see an Apple logo, but no credit card number.

While other credit cards are also experiencing some wear over time, when it was launched, Apple focused on the "beautiful" aspect of the card.

If you sign up to receive the card, Apple recommends that you put it in a wallet, pocket or bag made of "soft materials". Apple also suggests cleaning the titanium card by wiping with a microfiber cloth moistened with isopropyl alcohol.
