Kuo also thinks that Apple will launch a 31.6-inch 6K display with a "mini-LED-type backlight." This would be welcome, but a bit surprising, since Apple has abandoned its own screens and instead directs its customers to the LG UltraFine 5K 27-inch display. Complementing the rumors about desktop computers, Kuo has reported something that Apple has already hinted at, that the next Mac Pro will arrive in 2019 with "easy-to-upgrade components."

On the mobile side, Kuo predicts that the next range of iPhone will have the same screen sizes and (large) notches, the next iPhone XR using an LCD, not an OLED screen, as before. However, all models will have a new Face ID system, an improved battery and a frosted glass case. More interestingly, they will ship a very broadband inland navigation radio and a wireless two-way charging. The latter would let the iPhone load other new AirPod devices with wireless charging and enhanced Bluetooth capability.
Two new models of iPad Pro could also be on sale this year with brand new processors. The 9.7-inch iPad Pro will increase to 10.2 inches, so that it can also contain small frames. A new iPad Mini could also arrive this year, a new one that matches other recent leaks.
Finally, Kuo thinks that the ECG capacity of the Apple Watch will be available in other countries in 2019 and that Apple will unveil a new ceramic case option. The latter was available on the Watch 3, but Apple ignored it on the latest model.
Do not forget that even though Kuo has a good reputation for leaks, he is not always right. In addition, many of these rumors are just confirmation of existing information and common sense assumptions about what Apple is likely to do.
