As Apple continues to expand the availability of the iPhone 13 around the world, the company is also heavily promoting all of the new features in its brand new phones. On Instagram, Apple ordered a few shots with the Ultra Wide lens of the new iPhone 13 range.
Apple has commissioned six photographers to take photos using the new iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro. Called “Broaden Your Perspective”, this #ShotOniPhone series brings the different combinations that users can create with the Ultra-Wide lens.
Apple specifically ordered photos with the Ultra-Wide lens because it made major improvements. For example, from iPhone 12 to iPhone 13, the new Ultra-Wide lens sensor can collect 47% more light in a scene, while the iPhone 13’s Ultra-Wide lens sensor Pro can provide 92% improvement for low light environments.
Additionally, on Pro models, users can take photos using the macro photography feature, which allows you to get as close as 2 centimeters to a subject to take a photo.
With the images, Apple highlights the advantages of Smart HDR 4, a larger aperture as well as the 120 ° field of view which adds more content to a single shot. Since introducing Ultra Wide lenses with the iPhone 11, Apple has improved it every year. The iPhone 13 features a larger aperture which improves low-light scenes and also makes the natural lens distortion less noticeable.
