Apple plans to unveil three new iPhones next month, including two new "Pro" models and a successor to the iPhone XR, Bloomberg announced Thursday.

According to the report, the "Pro" models are supposed to replace the iPhone XS and the iPhone XS Max. They will be packed with major upgrades to the rear-facing camera, including a sensor for ultra-wide-angle photo and video capture, a first for Apple, according to Bloomberg. The new camera system will also provide better photos in poorly lit environments, while allowing, for example, to capture three images at a time.

Apple plans to add a second rear camera to the successor of the iPhone XR, offering features such as enhanced portrait mode, as well as optical zoom, which allows users to zoom in without compromising quality, Bloomberg said.

All new models should include a new multi-angle face recognition sensor, allowing users to unlock their device even if it is flat on a table, Bloomberg said. Apple would offer faster A13 processors on each of the three iPhones, which should help improve computer vision and augmented reality capabilities.

In addition to iPhones, the company is also expected to release updated iPads and MacBooks in the fall, according to the report. He is also working on updated versions of the AirPod and the HomePod Smart Speaker.

Apple representatives were not immediately available to comment.
