Apple is working with Microsoft to bring Xbox Series X controller support to Apple devices

According to Apple’s support website, the company is currently working with Microsoft to bring support for the Xbox Series X and Series S controllers to iPhones and iPads. The Support website states, “Microsoft and Apple are working together to bring Xbox Series X controller compatibility to customers in a future update.”

It comes less than two weeks after the release of the Xbox Series X and S Series, clearly showing Apple’s willingness to bring new controller support to their devices. In fact, earlier this week, with the release of iOS 14.3 for developers, signs of support for the PS5’s DualSense controller were spotted.

Earlier this year, Apple worked with Microsoft on something similar, bringing support for the Xbox Elite 2 controller to their devices. This process took almost a year for both companies. Hopefully that doesn’t become the case this time around.
