Apple no longer sells LG's UltraFine 5K screen

Apple has left the standalone display game since 2016, the year it stopped displaying Thunderbolt. Instead, the company chose to partner with LG to create two new UltraFine displays, intended to be Apple's choice option for external displays. Unfortunately, the displays had performance issues, including being unusable if they were placed next to a WiFi router. Since rumors that Apple is making its own screen have begun to percolate, the company has quietly begun to distance itself from the LG monitors it has helped to create.

It is possible that the LG UltraFine 5K screen is again available on the Apple online store. The product list is still online, although it is not possible to order it at the moment. The stock of the product has been stained in recent months, and AppleInsider reported that the display was "unavailable for pickup" in some markets for months. LG's screens are still available from other sellers, but it seems that Apple has almost completed its partnership.
