Black Friday and Cyber Monday may be over, but Apple hopes some of you are still looking for a new phone. For a limited time, as part of its GiveBack device exchange program, Apple offers its customers an additional credit of up to $ 100 in exchange for a new iPhone XS or iPhone XR when They are exchanging an old iPhone.
Depending on the model of the iPhone you are trading, you can get an additional credit of $ 25 (iPhone 8) or up to $ 100 (iPhone 6 Plus / iPhone 6s / iPhone 6s Plus). When you decide to exchange an old device, you can choose to receive an Apple Gift Card or receive a return on your purchase. And even if your device is too bad to earn credit, Apple will take it out of your hands and recycle it for free.
Apple has not yet specified the duration of the additional credit promotion. Therefore, if you want to exchange an old phone (and want to do it via Apple), act quickly. Here is the complete list of eligible devices:
- Iphone 6: $ 150 (was $ 75)
- iPhone 6 Plus: $ 200 (was $ 100)
- iPhone 6s: $ 200 (was $ 100)
- iPhone 6s Plus: $ 250 (was $ 150)
- iPhone 7: $ 250 (was $ 175)
- iPhone 7 Plus: $ 300 (was $ 250)
- iPhone 8: $ 300 (was $ 275)
Although you may be able to find better prices elsewhere, reselling your phone to Apple is probably the simplest way to get rid of it, while reducing the cost of your next phone by a few hundred dollars.
