Apple is preparing to revamp its iMac line of desktop computers, according to a Bloomberg report Friday. The iconic all-in-ones would have thinner black boarders around their 21.5-inch and 27-inch screens, a reduction of the aluminum “chin” that extends below the screen area, and an overall design. more square, similar to Apple Pro Display XDR Monitor which was released last year.

The new report, which cites anonymous sources, surfaces as Apple heads to replace processors manufactured by Intel with its own Apple Silicon brand chips across the entire range of Mac computers, which includes the Macbook Pro and Macbook Air lines of laptops.

Apple did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
