Apple raises iOS cell download limit to 200 MB

This is a welcome addition, which could be useful if you absolutely need an application when you are not connected to WiFi. However, it may still be too modest for some. It's not hard to find applications for productivity and social networks that even exceed the unofficial limit (Facebook's capacity is 260 MB), and you can usually forget a lot of games when they can occupy gigabytes. And as before, there is no way to go beyond this ceiling. You will have to wait for WiFi to download larger applications, even if you have a truly unlimited data plan. Although there are probably reasons for this – operators do not want customers to saturate their networks – it will not be much fun if you absolutely need an application to the limit.
