[ad_1]

Apple today released the fifth beta of iOS 14.7 and iPadOS 14.7. The company is also rolling out beta 5 from developer watchOS 7.6, as well as beta 5 from developer tvOS 14.7. Check out the details below.

Today’s new version of iOS 14.7 beta 5 is available to developers via a live update in the Settings app. As usual, if the update does not appear immediately for download, keep checking, as it can sometimes take a few minutes to roll out for all registered developers. The build number for today’s release is 18G5063a.

As we detailed last month, iOS 14.7 brings a new timer management feature for HomePod users:

Apple today introduced the first beta of iOS 14.7 to developers, and while this update doesn’t appear to bring any significant changes, it does bring a new feature for HomePod users. With this new version of iOS, users will be able to set timers on HomePod using the Home app on iPhone, iPad, and possibly Mac.

Here are all of Apple’s new beta releases today:

  • macOS Big Sur 11.5 beta 5
  • iOS 14.7 beta 5 (18G5063a)
  • iPadOS 14.7 beta 5 (18G5063a)
  • watchOS 7.6 beta 5 (18U5561a)
  • tvOS 14.7 beta 5 (18M5559a)

It’s still unclear when Apple will release these latest updates to the public, but we expect them to be released as soon as possible given that we are now in the fifth beta and iOS 15 is now also available in version. beta.
