The iOS and iPadOS The 13.1 updates are available on all eligible devices over the air in the Settings application. To access updates, go to Settings> General> Software Update.

iOS and iPadOS 13.1.1 are minor updates that focus on bug fixes and performance improvements rather than major outward changes. For example, it fixes a third-party keyboard vulnerability described by Apple earlier this week. According to Apple's release notes, the iOS 13.1.1 update fixes the following bugs:

– Troubleshoot issues that may prevent the recovery of the iPhone from a backup

– Resolution of a problem that could lead to faster discharge of the battery

– Resolved a problem that may affect the recognition of Siri requests on iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max

– Resolved the issue of reactivating Safari search suggestions after they are disabled.

– Fixed a problem that could cause slow reconciliation of callbacks

– Fix a security issue for third-party keyboard applications

There are also separate release notes for the iPad, but the update fixes the same issues:

– Solves problems that could prevent iPad restore from a backup

– Resolution of a problem that could lead to faster discharge of the battery

– Resolved the issue of reactivating Safari search suggestions after they are disabled.

– Fixed a problem that could cause slow reconciliation of callbacks

– Fix a security issue for third-party keyboard applications

iOS 13.1.1 could soon be followed by iOS 13.2, an update that has already been identified in the analysis and could be published in beta in the coming weeks.

The previous iOS 13.1 update introduced Share ETA, expanded audio sharing options, shortcut automations, directional AirDrop features on new iPhones, and more. For more information on what's new in iOS 13, check out our resume.
