Apple Seeds: first beta version of iOS 12.4 for developers

[ad_1]

Apple today launched the first beta version of an upcoming beta version of iOS 12.4 to developers, just days after the launch of iOS 12.3, a major update that introduced the new Apple TV application.

Registered developers can download the new beta version of iOS 12.4 from the Apple Developer Center or over the air once the appropriate configuration profile has been installed from the Developer Center.

As a 12.x update, the new software may include more important features than the smaller 12.x.x updates. iOS 12.4 will mark the fourth major update for iOS 12 after iOS 12.3, which featured a redesigned TV application with the new Apple Channels feature to subscribe and watch the content of a third-party subscription directly in the TV application.

We do not yet know what we can expect to see in iOS 12.4, but we'll update this post as soon as we download the software and find out what's new. It is likely that this beta includes some features related to the Apple Card, such as the Apple Card is scheduled to launch in the summer.

iOS 12.4 is perhaps one of the latest updates to the iOS 12 operating system during the transition from Apple to iOS 13, which should be presented to the WWDC in June.
