Apple sends invitations for "the special event" of March 25 – TechCrunch

Apple sent invitations to reporters this afternoon for a special event on March 25 at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino.

Reports suggest that the company will concentrate its main speech on the content of its activities. The invitation offers rather heavy indications that the video content service will be fully displayed during the event, mainly a movie countdown that finally reveals the phrase "It's time for the show".

Apple has sown a ton of TV shows and published many ads on current content, but we have rarely heard of Apple's underlying platform or underlying subscription beyond the media reports.

There was also talk of a subscription market for Apple News announced here, but given the obvious marketing credentials to the video service, the information product might not be completely ready or could play a secondary role in video ads. Speaking of reservation, announcements regarding the hardware are unlikely, although AirPower and the second generation AirPods have long been expected.
