Apple shares detailed information about cleaning and protecting your Apple card in a new support document

This morning, Apple has shared a new Apple Card Support document, which outlines the appropriate cleaning and storage methods to keep the card's white finish characteristic.

If the Apple card is dirty, Apple recommends wiping it gently with a soft, damp microfiber cloth. A soft microfiber cloth moistened with isopropyl alcohol can also be used to remove stains.

Apple says that we should avoid household cleaners, abrasives, solvents, ammonia, aerosols and compressed air, and warns that certain fabrics, such as leather and denim, may to cause permanent discoloration.

Because of the multilayer coating process that gives the titanium map its white finish, Apple has defined detailed rules for proper storage.

the Apple Card must be stored in a soft wallet, pocket or bag, and must not touch another credit card, as they may be scratched.

Apple also warns against putting Apple Card magnets, as this could lead to the demagnetization of the magnetic stripe, and Apple also indicates that the Apple Card do not put in a pocket or bag containing coins, keys or any other potentially abrasive object.
