(Reuters) – Apple Inc. (AAPL.O) will host an event on September 10 at the Steve Jobs Theater, located on the Cupertino campus in California, where the company is expected to unveil new iPhone models.
In an invitation to the event Thursday, Apple announced a five-color version of its logo, involving the launch of more colors for its new iPhone models.
The company has been trapped by the storm, with trade tensions affecting its manufacturing link with China.
The Trump administration charges taxes of 15% on major products made in China, such as smartwatches and wireless headsets, on September 1, and the price of its biggest seller, the iPhone, will enter December 15th. [reut.rs/2GDBUaw]
IPhone sales fell to less than half of the company's total sales during its last quarter, for the first time in seven years.
