Apple teases its event with a "live stream" of Steve Jobs Theater

Apple will host tomorrow its Steve Jobs theater show at the Cupertino headquarters in California. The group is expected to unveil a number of new services that illustrate its evolution in services, including a reorganized news service, subscriptions to pay TV channels and its own original content. Prior to the event, Apple has wrapped a video of the theater today, with a focus on television.

The video is stylized to look like a CRT TV and tilted between a handful of different angles of the theater. Right now, the movie theater screen is displaying a classic Apple screen saver, although some Twitter users have spotted other items, such as a screenshot of Captain's incoming call America, Chris Evans. It seems likely that it is a nod to the shows that Apple should unveil, as Evans plays in one of them, an eight-episode thriller series entitled Defend Jacob.

Another Twitter user pointed out that this is probably not a live stream of the theater, noting that the company is probably rehearsing for tomorrow's event.

In addition to announcing its original content offerings, Apple is expected to unveil a set of new service offerings: an updated news service, premium subscription plans for premium channels such as HBO, Starz and Showtime, as well as a subscription game service.
