Apple continues today its advertising campaign focused on the portrait mode and depth control features of the iPhone XR and XS. The latest ad is called "Alejandro" and deals with the use of depth control to remove a person from the background of an image.

Today's announcement focuses on a jealous significant person who apparently uses depth control to remove another person from an image in Portrait mode. Apple insists that depth control lets you erase people in the background to "get your portraits to perfection".

Depth control on iPhone XS and iPhone XR lets you adjust the depth of field before or after shooting. So you can hide the people in the background to get perfect portraits.

Last week, Apple introduced Depth Control with a comic ad for iPhone XR that found a mother who was asking why she was "bokeh'd". These latest ads for iPhone XR certainly represent a new style for Apple, although they do highlight the camera features of the iPhone XR and the iPhone XS.
