Apple has just officially announced the new generation of Apple Watch, the Apple Watch Series 5. The latest model looks a lot like the Series 4 of last year, with a design and a similar size. It finally adds a permanent display option so you can see the time without having to move your wrist. According to Apple, the Series 5 watch retains the battery life of the previous 18-hour model, even with the new permanent display. Monitoring areas and workouts have been redesigned to take advantage of the new display option.

In addition to the new permanent display feature, the Apple Watch Series 5 is now available in aluminum or recycled titanium finishes. The stainless steel and ceramic options of the previous models are also available. Apple says it's the largest number of finishes ever made for the Apple Watch.

Other new features include an integrated compass and emergency calls for international countries. The price of Series 5 starts at $ 399 for the GPS model and $ 499 for the version with cellular connection. It is available to order from today and will be available in stores from September 20th.

Apple is also permanently lowering the price of Series 3 to $ 199, which is the lowest selling price on this model.
