Apple Watch would have an integrated sleep tracking

Apple is expected to unveil its Apple Series 5 next week. And before the official launch, a major new feature was revealed by 9to5Mac people.

According to the report, Apple would have created a new feature for sleep tracking. The built-in feature, called Burrito under the internal code name, will allow Apple Watch owners to track their sleep without the need for additional hardware. This is "bed time tracking," so Apple may not advertise "sleep tracking function."

The feature will fully utilize existing Apple Watch sensors and use all of these sensors to quantify things like a user's sleep quality. It will use data such as a person's movement in bed, heart rate, and other noise while asleep. It will also be integrated into the alarm system. Thus, if you wake up before your alarm goes off, it will automatically be turned off. Similarly, you can choose to get a silent alarm on the Apple Watch that makes the ringing ring vibrate without ringing. This feature also automatically turns on Do Not Disturb when you go to bed.

Apple is working on a new watch app for the Apple Watch where all Time in Bed data will be available.

The sleep monitoring built into the Apple Watch will obviously be very good, but you will need to be sure to charge your watch when you wake up or before going to bed to make sure that it works all day long. However, it is not clear whether the new Time in Bed tracking feature will be an Apple Watch Series 5 exclusive or will be available on older Apple Watch devices via a software update. Whereas Series 5 is supposed to be a minor update to the Apple Watch lineup, I have the feeling that Apple will make the Sleep Watch feature exclusive to the Apple Watch Series 5 just for give users a reason to upgrade.
