Apple's ICloud is the last service down this week – BGR

Following Verizon's out-of-market Tuesday morning, Gmail and YouTube numbers on Tuesday night, and the "server configuration change" that took away Facebook and Instagram on Wednesday, Apple decided. According to the System Status dashboard on the Apple site, virtually all iCloud services are currently experiencing problems, including Contacts, Drive, and Mail.

According to my calculations, there are twenty problematic services at the time of writing. All the problems started at 11 o'clock this morning. Apple has not provided additional details beyond troubled services, primarily using a sentence to explain each problem: "Users may not be able to access this service."

No evidence released to date indicates that the multitude of online service outages this week is related, but the way each seems to have cropped up just behind the last is suspicious, that's the least that's happening. we can say. That said, Facebook has made it clear that it was not the target of a DDoS attack or of this type, but that a seemingly innocuous server problem internally had caused this massive failure.

Apple has not commented yet, but unless it's really serious, it's unlikely we'll hear much. In the meantime, if you notice something moving with iCloud, at least you'll know why. In addition, you can track Apple's progress in the System Status dashboard.
