Apple’s Independent Repair Provider Program Grows Globally

Apple’s Independent Repair Provider Program will soon be available in over 200 countries, almost all of the countries where Apple products are sold. Originally launched in 2019 and expanded to Europe and Canada last year, the program provides repair vendors of all sizes with access to genuine Apple parts, tools, repair manuals and diagnostics. to provide safe and reliable repairs for Apple products. There are now over 1,500 independent repair centers serving customers in the United States, Canada and Europe.

All repair providers participating in the program have access to free training from Apple and the same original parts, tools, service manuals, and diagnostics as Apple Authorized Service Providers (AASP) and Apple Retail Stores. Extending Apple Repair Services

Apple continues to provide convenient repair options to customers through its global network of more than 5,000 AASPs who help millions of people with in-warranty and out-of-warranty service for all Apple products. To find a location, visit support.apple.com/repair.

Through its repair options and partners, Apple works to ensure the health and safety of customers as well as access to repair services during COVID-19. This includes offering additional options for mail-in repair to customers and supporting its existing network of suppliers serving customers to meet health and safety guidelines.

Availability

  • Membership in Apple’s Independent Repair Provider Program is free. To qualify, repair providers must commit to having an Apple Certified Technician perform the repairs. The certification process is simple and free. Qualified repair providers can purchase Genuine Apple Parts and Tools at the same price as AASPs and have free access to training, repair manuals, and diagnostics.
