Apple’s iPad Air 2020 was a big improvement over the previous year’s model, thanks to a nicer iPad Pro-like design, great performance, and long battery life. The main problem with this was the $ 599 price tag that slips into iPad Pro territory. Now you can buy the 64GB and 256GB models on Amazon for the lowest prices we’ve ever seen, $ 489 and $ 639 respectively, which is $ 110 off regular prices.

In our Engadget review, we called the iPad Air 2020 “the best tablet for almost everyone,” and even the best high-end tablet. Apple has dramatically transformed the design with the flat edges used on the iPad Pro, while adding a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display, a USB-C charging port, and a side button with TouchID technology.
With the latest A14 Bionic chip, WiFi 6 technology and a 16-core neural motor, it offers both high performance and healthy battery life (10 to 12 hours). It also supports Apple’s second-generation pencil and accessories that essentially turn it into a laptop replacement, although those obviously add to the price.
The iPad Pro offers some features not found on the iPad Air, such as the M1 chipset and the 120 Hz screen which is slightly brighter (500 nits versus 600). If you’ve taken a look at the Air model, however, act quickly as the sale is only open for today. As a reminder, Amazon has several other deals on Apple products this week, especially the Apple AirPods and AirPods Pro wireless headphones – the latter are slashed 28% to $ 179.
