You can detach the keypad protection from the hull if you wish, leaving only the hull on the iPad. Zagg left a lot of space at the bottom of the keyboard on the Slim Book Go. So it's comfortable to rest your wrists, but when you use it on your lap, it's unstable.
It's not a problem if you use it on a desk and the adjustable stand offers multiple viewing angles, which you do not get with the Logitech version. The keyboard is nice to type, but the keys are not backlit. We do not know why, but there is no sleep / wake function in the cover, so closing it will not turn it off. iPad. Support for multiple devices is included, which is not available in Slim Folio Pro.
Unlike the Slim Book Go, the Logitech Slim Folio Pro is a unique piece with no detachable keyboard option. It has a thick rubber frame that protects the iPadand only one angle of view to use when typing.
Slim Folio Pro and Slim Book Go both offer a better typing experience than the Smart keyboard Folio for those who like the more traditional touches, but we preferred the feel of the Slim Book Go a little more, because the keys have more moves and a more satisfying click. On the plus side, it is a little less bulky and lighter, and has backlit keys, an interesting bonus.
Slim Book Go and Slim Folio Pro are both connected to the iPad Pro using Bluetooth, making the Smart keyboard Folio, the only keyboard accessory using the smart connector on the new iPad Pro models. Bluetooth is not as practical as the Smart connector, but these keyboards do not need to be recharged often and when they do, you can use USB-C.
So which one should you choose? If you hate bulk, get it Smart keyboard Folio or plan to remove these keyboard cases when they are not used, which can be complicated.
