This confirms eight release dates of the DC movie.

Warner Bros. Wednesday confirmed the release date of the sequel to Aquaman, which is expected to go out in theaters on December 16, 2022, according to EW.

It had been announced earlier in February that Aquaman 2 was officially under development. David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, co-writer of the first film, was writing the script of the sequel.

Since its release in December, Aquaman has generated $ 1.1 billion in box office worldwide, making it the most profitable DCEU film in history.

Wonder Woman still ranks first in the country for DCEU films, although in the US, Aquaman made $ 335 million, compared to more than $ 400 million at the box office.

It's unclear whether James Wan will return to direct the sequel, but Jason Momoa will return as a submarine warrior, Aquaman.

Aquaman 2 is the eighth digitally broadcasted film whose release date is confirmed. The complete list is as follows:

Shazam! will be published on April 5; Joker – an original story featuring Joaquin Phoenix is ​​scheduled for October 4, 2019; Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn in Birds of Prey will be premiered on February 7, 2020; 1984 Wonder Woman featuring Gal Gadot – who changed her dates for a summer outing – is expected to be released June 5, 2020; The Batman, who has little details leaked but Ben Affleck has confirmed that he will not be back, has a date of creation on June 25, 2021; The Suicide Squad, which will be written by former Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn, is scheduled for August 6, 2021 and Aquaman 2 will be premiered on December 16, 2022.
