An Arby official in Oklahoma was arrested for allegedly shooting and killing a client after an altercation during which the client spit in her face, police said.

The Tulsa Police Department said police reacted to a Walmart accident on March 23 and found that the 25-year-old driver, Desean Tallent, was hit on the chest.

After further investigation, Tulsa police said that Tallent had been involved in an altercation with a manager at a press conference in Arby ending with "threats against the responsible and spitting on his face" .

Tallent returned to the Arby home an hour later and bypassed the parking lot, while manager, Deionna Young, 25, ran out and got into her car, the police said. She then shot Tallent – who died later of her injury – and returned to work, police said.

Tulsa police said Young confessed and was sentenced for first degree murder.

In a statement to affiliate ABC, KTULArby's said he was conducting a "thorough internal investigation into the incident".
