Eli said he “felt” for his nephew because “he had so much pressure and so many expectations” to grow up.

“I told him, ‘Hey, love being a high school football player,’” Eli Manning said. “It’s a good time in your life, some of the best friends you’ll have forever. Don’t start thinking about college so much, or ‘Hey, where am I going to play in college,’ and thinking about the next level where you can’t enjoy this time of your life.

“So enjoy it, work hard, be a great teammate and you’ll understand where you’re going to play in college.”
