Are the pelicans in New Orleans ready to trade Anthony Davis against the Los Angeles Lakers? This is something that many question, and there is conflicting information.
When Davis first made his trade request at the end of January, the Lakers were the team that immediately appeared as a desired destination. The Lakers office has made many efforts to try to acquire Davis in a business, but it seems that New Orleans has never been interested in working with them.
The Pelicans fired General Manager Dell Demps and have since replaced him with David Griffin. Now, with a new front-office management and first choice, would pelicans be open to Davis trading at the Lakers? ESPN's Zach Lowe says he thinks it and that the property would allow Griffin to achieve what he believed to be the best possible exchange for the team, whatever his destination.
On the contrary, Lowe's colleague, Brian Windhorst, said that pelicans are do not interested in trading with the Lakers.

The Lakers received this year's draft No. 4 pick and can pack it with a number of their young players to try to attract the Pelicans in an exchange.
