Area 51: Thousands of people engage on Facebook to storm the site for the "see the aliens"

More than 300,000 people have signed up for a Facebook event in which they are pledging to raid Area 51 in Nevada for the purpose of "seeing them, aliens".
The event, entitled "Storm Area 51, they can not stop us all," invites users around the world to join a "Naruto Race" – a Japanese manga-inspired running style with arms stretched backwards and head forward – – in the zone.

"We can move faster than their balls," promised the event's page, clearly written with a language in play, to those who responded to the September 20 questionnaire.

What they are looking for

The mysterious Zone 51 has been the subject of conspiracy theories for decades, and many people believe that this is where the US government stores its secrets about aliens and UFOs.

The region was officially recognized as a military site in 2013, but theories are still topical.

Although the September event is certainly a joke, it comes just a few weeks after a group of US senators was informed of clashes that allegedly took place between the US Navy and an unidentified aircraft, a unidentified flying object.

So what do they know? Where can we sign up to hear about this?
