2-year-old girl lost her sight for playing all day with her mobile phone | Chronic

A couple bought a cell phone to her baby when she was one year old to be entertained and to be quiet. A year later, the girl lost her sight because she used the phone all day.

The incident occurred in Jiangsu Province of China. The 2-year-old girl is now suffering from severe myopia and needs to wear glbades with -9 diopters, which equates to the power of focus on lenses.

According to the local Daily Mail media, the parents realized that something strange was going on with their daughter when they saw her frown and squint to better observe the mobile screen .

When they took her to the doctor, the professionals confirmed the worst and explained that a slightly myopic person had a score between -0.5D and -3D. The result of this girl was therefore more than disturbing.

The diagnosis is irreversible and could worsen as it grows, confirmed the doctor Liu LiYangzhou Children's and Maternity Services Center.
