Art has always had its place in Buenos Aires. Artists are emerging, proliferating everywhere. But where to find them all, the most original? For four days to four days, the venue is the MAPA exhibition which presents from April 12 to 15 its new edition.
After several years on the market as independent products, the two creations of Agustín Montes de Oca, FACA and Map of the Arts Publishing House have come together to create MAPA. Squí exposes the latest trends in contemporary art with a focus on young artists, self-directed projects and original proposals. But the MAPA is not only a fair of art, it is also an editorial and organizer of cultural events.
The new cultural complex (CC Art Media), where will be held the fair, is located Avenida Corrientes 6271, constituting a new epicenter of art in the city of Buenos Aires.
International galleries from Colombia, Miami, Chile and Peru will participate. Some of them are: Ambos Mundos (Argentina), Quimera (Argentina), Piccadilly (Argentina), DC (Colombia), Bloc Art (Peru), Sasha D (Argentina), La Sala Gallery (Chile), Espacio O (Chile). There will be discussions on contemporary art, project presentations and performances, among other activities.
In addition, there will be an institutional space of the City Bank with works of heirs of the heritage of artists such as Curatella Manes, Del Prete, Yente, Fioravanti and the international artist Magda Frank. In addition, guided tours will take place every day at 19:00.
