The Ministry of Health recorded 50 new confirmed deaths from COVID-19, with which the cumulative deaths amounted to 228,804; while with 1,401 new infections, Mexico added 2 433 681 accumulated cases.

Since the start of the pandemic, 1,939,596 people who have contracted the disease have already recovered.

By calculating the estimated incidence rate of assets by entity of residence, we see that to date, Baja California Sur, Quintana Roo and Tabasco are the entities with an estimated rate greater than 70 per 100,000 inhabitants.

On the other hand, Morelos, Aguascalientes and Tlaxcala have the lowest number of active infections: 83, 68 and 51 cases, respectively.

This is reflected in the new colors of the epidemiological traffic light which will come into effect this Monday and will be in effect until the next one. June 20, or 19 states will be in color green (low risk): Aguascalientes, Mexico, Chiapas, Coahuila, Durango, State of Mexico, Guerrero, Guanajuato, Hidalgo, Jalisco, Morelos, Michoacán, Nayarit, Oaxaca, Puebla, Querétaro, San Luis Potosí, Tlaxcala and Zacatecas.

Will have nine states in yellow (medium risk): Baja California, Campeche, Chihuahua, Colima, Nuevo León, Tamaulipas, Sonora, Sinaloa and Veracruz.

Four states in orange (high risk): Baja California Sur, Quintana Roo, Tabasco and Yucatán; and no red status (maximum risk).

As indicated by the agency, until this Friday June 4 there was a 87% reduction in bed occupancy nationwide (general care and ventilators) since the last peak of cases.

With regard to general hospital beds, there was a 13% occupied spaces in the country and those of mechanical ventilation, dedicated to the most serious patients of COVID-19, recorded an occupation of 14%.
